2024 DC Government Employee Open Enrollment Marketing and Communications
The DC Government Open Enrollment is an annual period during which employees have the opportunity to review and select their benefits for the upcoming year. It is a critical time for employees to assess and update their health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits to ensure they meet their personal and family needs. This period is crucial for maximizing the value of their benefits and making informed decisions about their coverage options.
I initiated the idea of incorporating a seasonal theme into the Open Enrollment branding to make the event more engaging and relevant. This approach not only enhanced the overall visibility of the enrollment period but also fostered greater employee participation and interaction with the benefits selection process.
For the 2024 DC Government Employee Benefits Open Enrollment, I led the enhancement of branding and communication strategies using the theme "Game Show." This involved conceptualizing, designing, and implementing a comprehensive marketing campaign across email, MMS, and the website. My responsibilities included designing all graphic elements, creating email and publication layouts, and developing webpages with front-end coding. I drafted email templates, memorandums, and communications timeline for leadership review and approval. Additionally, I updated all publications in line with the annual theme.
